The Australian industrial trio Snog formed in Australia in 1988 when DJ and art scholarly person David Thrussell met up with Julia and Tim, though the three were into immensely different forms of music (severally, electronic body music, ambient and synth-pop). Snog began recording in 1990; after flunk to receive whatsoever interested labels, though, the grouping traveled to Germany and were soon sign to Machinery Records. By 1992, Snog had recorded a leftfield dancefloor dispatch, "Incorporated Slave," and released their debut album Lies, Inc.

By the time of the 1994 single "Bromide," Snog had adult to embracing techno as easily as industrial; on their 1995 record album Pricey Valued Customer, the influence was large as well. The Future EP and the compilation Remote Control followed in 1996-97; Third gear Mall from the Sun appeared in 1999 and Relax Into the Abyss was issued the adjacent year.
